OUR STORY
A GORGEOUS GOLDEN
In 2014, at Denver's Red Rocks Amphitheater, we crossed paths with one of the most gorgeous Golden Retrievers we had ever laid eyes on. That afternoon we obtained a Missouri breeder's name, which eventually led us to the purchase of our sweet, beautiful, Golden Retriever, Willow.
CONTINUING A LEGACY
Willow (Dam to our 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023 litters) comes from a strong breeding legacy, born of Stoney Creek Farm, established in 1994.​ For three decades, Stoney Creek Farm created a highly sought after golden retriever line best known for producing its 'Big, Blonde and Boxy' Golden Retrievers.

As fate had it, Stoney Creek Farm re-entered our lives several years after we had adopted Willow. With a blessing and guidance we bred Willow for her first time, producing a litter of gorgeous Golden Retriever puppies. Stoney Creek Farm graciously partnered with us, providing years of valuable breeding insights and experience to Goldens of The Pines, LLC. Today we, at Goldens of The Pines, remain honored as we continue breeding from the lineage and history of a 26+ year legacy.

About The Breeder
PASSION
Christa is the owner/breeder at Goldens of The Pines, LLC (GOTP). Before stepping into work with Golden Retrievers, Christa spent a decade working as a NICU RN, caring for neonates in the hospital setting. It was during this time that she bred her first Golden Retriever litter. With a unique understanding of the medical world and tiny new lives, Christa quickly became passionate about the care it takes to breed, whelp, and care for brand new Goldens.

RESPONSIBLE BREEDING
As a lover of science, Christa has chosen to grow her breeding program through the guidance of genetics. It is the genetics of the dogs at Goldens of The Pines, LLC that are the resource used to ensure complementary breeding pairings. These purposeful pairings produce puppies clear of any known genetically trackable diseases.
COMMUNICATION & COMPATABILITY
At Goldens of The Pines, an emphasis is placed on communication during the puppy adopting process. Christa takes the time to understand what each client is looking for and believes in the importance of compatibility between a new owner and a Golden Retriever. Therefore, an emphasis is placed on matching each client with a Golden Retriever that closely matches their expectations. With a commitment to excellence, she aims to deliver every client a new furry family member that they could never imagine having lived without.
Meet Our
Family
A TEAM EFFORT
Our entire family takes part in the raising of our puppies. Together, we care for the puppies by providing intentional human interactions, aiding with potty training, providing Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), teaching age appropriate commands, and providing all the appropriate necessities to encourage healthy puppy development. Together, we even set the stage to help our puppies to sleep through the night by 6 weeks old. (Yes, we have been thanked many times for this!) Together, we ensure our puppies are acquainted and comfortable around the normal rhythms of human life as we raise each puppy within the walls of our own home. We fall in love with each litter, and together, we then get to share them with the world as they head to their Forever Homes, one puppy at a time.
